We here in your southern most Canadian city, Buffalo NY share your feelings. We sold out an outdoor venue that was showing the concert on 4 big Screens, along with many other bars who scrambled to figure out how to show the concert on the TV's in their establishments.
Nautical Disaster is one of the best Jams of the entire Hip collection.

A fantastic concert last night. Kudos to CBC for getting this one right and doing the right thing. Although not a passionate "Hip-fan", I do like their music and knew almost every song they did. the 3 encores where just incredible. Music and sport Jennifer.....you are right.....such a huge part of most of our growing up. Nice article Jen!

It was amazing that the CBC did something right and we were able to share The Hip with all.

Canada has done well giving us The Hip and the greatest game, Hockey!!

In 10, 20 and thirty years from now, ask any Canadian or wanna be Canadian (all non Canadian Hip and Hockey fans) where they were for the final Hip concert and they will have a story to tell.

God bless Gord and The Hip!

I think for me, the first time I really felt a pang of hurt was when they did Fiddler's Green... but I totally lost it during Grace, Too...

That whole concert, all 3 hours of it, left me grateful but emotionally numb by the end.

It was so bittersweet. The joy of hearing favorite after favorite and the painful realization at the preciousness of the moment...

Scared and Grace, Too back to back during the second encore left me emotionally exhausted...

Cheers, thanks!

The Hip were my 2nd ever concert when I was 16. The 1st show I ever saw at the Bell Centre. Amazing how they would sell out arenas...
